Victor Vargas 2/1/1948-5/30/2022 Funeral services for Victor Vargas will be held Monday, June 6, 2022, at St Pius X church in Quincy. He was surrounded by his loved ones as he passed away May 30, 2022. Victor was born on February 1st 1948 in the city of Elsa, Texas County to Isidoro and Hilda Vargas. He came to Washington state in 1957 settling in Quincy in 1960. He met and married Marina Villasana December 28, 1969, in San Luis, Potosi they were blessed with 4 children. Victor started working at a young age in the agricultural work. When he was 15, he was asked to drive a potato truck for a farmer and from there found his love for trucking. He has instilled in his children his strong work ethic. Victor was a very humble man, and he was the happiest when he was surrounded by his children and family, later blessed with 10 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marina Vargas. Children Jose (Maria) Vargas, Ernie Vargas, Victor (Rosy) Vargas, Nelida (Mauro) Guerrero-Vargas. 10 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids.
