Obituary

In Loving Memory of Victor Jesus Espino Mancilla November 10, 2005- October 8, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Victor Jesus Espino Mancilla, who left this world on October 8, 2025, at the age of 19. Victor was a dreamer, a passionate soul, and someone who touched the lives of all who knew him. From a young age, he had a heart full of aspirations, particularly his love for music and his dream of traveling the world. He was an artist at heart, often seen writing his own rap songs in his yellow notebook or strumming his electric guitar, imagining the future where he could share his music with the world. His spirit was further defined by his desire to help others, leading him to pursue a career in healthcare. Victor had plans to earn his CNA certification, hoping to touch lives by caring for those in need. He also found joy in donating blood whenever possible, with a signature smile, even when it came with the playful motivation of a gift card. Another thing about him was his love for animals, Victor's heart was especially connected to the many cats on the family farm and his faithful dog, Rex. He was happiest with his bulky black headphones enjoying listening to music and also the many adventures with Sonic he did while be played his Nintendo switch. Victor was also a proud member of the LGBQ+ community, embracing who he was with courage and authenticity. He often talked about creating his own space-a "tuff shed" home on the family property, where he could live independently and decorate it just as he pleased. His dreams were big, and his love for life was even bigger. Victor was a beloved son, brother, and friend. He is survived by his loving mother, Elsa Lidia Mancilla Vargas, and his three sisters, Diana Luisa Stevenson-Espino , Aitza Yanet Espino-Mancilla, and Mitziana Guadalupe Espino-Mancilla, his fraternal twin. He is also survived by his cherished dog, Rex, and many dear relatives and friends who will miss very much. Victor was predeceased by his grandfathers, Antonio Serratos Ramirez and Seferino Espino, and his father, Victor Espino Diaz, at the gates of heaven. Though Victor's time on this earth was far too short, his impact on our lives will be forever lasting. His love, his dreams, and his joy for life will remain in our hearts as we carry him with us always. Rest in peace, Victor. You are loved beyond measure.
