Martha A. Hernandez was born March 8, 1956 (66), and passed away July 21, 2023. She came to Quincy in 1978 where they worked in agriculture for a couple of years. Martha then went to work for Lamb Weston and retired in 2018 after 37 years. She was of the Catholic faith and was involved in Bible study. Martha was everyone's Godmother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a very loving person. Martha is survived by two aunts (Consuelo Meza and Ernestina Rodriguez), a cousin (Alonso Meza), four brothers, three sisters, and children Ayanni Helika Avila, Antonio Hernandez, Lupita Hernandez, and Ernesto Hernandez and had 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Viewing for the family will be held at Providence Funeral Home Tuesday, August 1st from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm with viewing for the public from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Mass will be at Quincy Catholic Church Wednesday, August 2nd at 11:00 am presided by Padre Mario. Following the service, the burial address will be at Quincy Cemetery. The luncheon service will be after the burial at 1004 1st Street SW. Quincy.
