Guadalupe Rodriguez
Castro
Nov 8, 1937 — Jan 27, 2026
Quincy
Guadalupe R. Castro of Quincy Washington left to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on January 27, 2026 peacefully with family by her side at the age of 88. Lupe was born on November 8, 1937 to Guadalupe Rogriguez and Tereza Martinez in Villa De Fuente Coahuila. She visited Chicago and met her "Gordo" Armando Castro. They married and moved to Quincy and raised 5 children. During this time Lupe worked for 40 years at Lamb Weston/Conagra. She loved traveling and going to casinos with her best friend Ramona Cruz. She had a giving heart. When traveling to her hometown Pierdas Negras she would take coins and clothing that she collected and saved all year 'round to give away. She once said that when she showed up with clothes the children chanted "tennis, tennis," This gave her joy. She is survived by Two brothers, Abel Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez, Her Children Andres Castro, Alfredo Castro, Angela Delgado, Albert Castro, and many Grandchildren and great grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her twin Jose Angel, Sisters, Dolores (Lola), Hortencia, Bertha, Brothers, Andres, Narcizo, Antonio, Neeko, her son, Armando Castro Jr., and her husband Armando Castro Sr.
Thank you for all your love and support, The Castro Family.
